Karosserie-Dichtmasse is a waterproof sealer for joints, particularly on aftermarket carbody-parts and covering trim pieces. Karosserie-Dichtmasse has an excellent adhesion to bare, primed or coated metal, is overpaintable and makes a replication of an authentic structure possible.

Characteristics:
Carsystem KS-50 Brushable Seam Sealer is a synthetic rubber-based sealant that can be applied with a paintbrush. This quick-drying product creates an elastic, heat and cold-resistant ( -25° C to +80° C) layer that can be painted over and is impervious to water and mineral spirits.

The drying time depends on the layerthickness and ambient conditions. At 1mm wet layer thickness the drying time is ca. 12 hours (at 20°C and a relative humidity of 65%)

Application:
The surface must be clean, dry, and free of grease and oil. Apply the product with a paintbrush on bare metal or primed/painted metal surfaces. Car System Brushable Seam Sealer will not drip or become stringy. You can paint over the sealer as soon as it dries. Do not apply at temperatures below 15°C.
