Scholl Concepts’ extra heavy cut compound S3 Gold XXL can achieve impressive results by hand when used with Scholl Concepts’ ergonomic, white hand polishing puck. The puck gives even pressure distribution, enabling manual removal of light scratches and swirl marks, restoring a shine and lustre to even the dullest, tired and weathered paintwork.
Paint refinishing can make a huge improvement to your car’s appearance, but the only way to get a permanent showroom finish is to polish the paint. While traditional polishes contain fillers which hide imperfections and create a temporary illusion of improved paint, a good compound containing diminishing micro granules (abrasives) will permanently remove scratches and swirls to leave perfectly smooth paint. S3 Gold XXL is a silicone-free, universal high performance compound for quick and easy application on scratched and badly weathered paintwork.
The Scholl Concepts White Hand Puck enables you to polish like a pro, without a costly polishing machine. The puck can be washed and reused.
Apply S3 Gold XXL compound sparingly as a little goes a long way.
S3 Gold XXL Scratch Remover Kit Contents:
Using S3 Gold XXL with the White Hand Puck enables you to achieve startlingly good results by hand. The ergonomic shape and firm premium foam of the puck creates even pressure distribution, enabling manual removal of light scratches and swirl marks, restoring a shine and a lustre to even the dullest, tired and weathered paintwork.
Apply a few small drops of S3 Gold XXL directly on the puck and a few small drops on the surface to be polished. Rub with moderate pressure, in circular or straight line movements (according to your preference/technique). If the puck starts to dry, apply a few more drops of S3 Gold XXL and continue polishing.
Do not apply too much polishing compound as it will build a lubricating film which hinders the removal rate. Wipe off polish residue with a soft polishing cloth.
Use for permanent rectification of defects like light to medium scratch removal by hand. The puck is also ideal for removing scratches around door handles and other difficult-to-access areas.
The Black Hand Puck is made from a softer finishing foam and has a lot less mechanical cut when used with heavier compounds than the White Hand Puck. As such, it can be useful to remove any hazing or fine scratches left after S3 Gold XXL application with a White Hand Puck. This is extremely useful for achieving perfect paint on softer finishes.
